Wedding in Cacela Velha

Marta and Flávio’s wedding in Cacela Velha was such a special and perfectly organized day. I love filming weddings in Cacela Velha. Especially when it was a hot day and everyone was out to enjoy the sun while partying all day.

In the morning, Marta gets ready for the day at Altura, at your parents’ house, just 2km from Flávio’s house.

I filmed her makeup preparation and some adorable pictures of wearing a wedding dress with the window entrance, and i filmed her adorable grandparents.

So, I went to film Flávio before he arrived at the church, which is in an enviable position overlooking the sea and the golden sands. From then on, the day went incredibly well and they simply enjoyed the happiest day of their lives. The tradition of the Marta family was maintained, the couple enjoyed the Renault 4L, which carried two generations in the family. It was a very long and crazy day. 😉

Cacela Velha is a small coastal town on the southern coast of the Algarve.

It is found in the Ria Formosa Natural Park and grew mainly during the 17th century. When it was part of the coastal defensive system and the Fort was built.

This place shows evidence that it has long been established as a fishing port, archaeological excavations have found an important Roman village, a residential neighborhood of Almohade (12th to 13th centuries), visible in Poço Antigo, near the edge of Cacela and a Christian cemetery of the 14th century.

In the historic center of this city is composed of the Fort, the Mother Church and an Almohade cistern.

Currently, it is worth a visit for its magnificent view over. The sea and the extensive sandy banks of the Formosa River. It’s a place very relax place.
