Wedding in Monte Amarelo

Silvia and Angelo’s wedding took place at the Sé church in Faro and the party at Monte Amarelo.

The cathedral premises seems to have a long history of sacredness even though archaeological evidences have not been found.

According to tradition, an early Paleo-Christian basilica was built here and it was later transformed into a mosque during the Arab Moorish rule.

A mother church was rebuilt here soon after. The origins of the present Cathedral are identified to the middle of the 13th century

They have a wonderful group of friends, who throughout the day surprised them.
When they left the church they were surprised with a song made by their friends.
I love these surprises, they are things that make the day.
At Monte Amarelo, the cocktail is the relaxing moment of the day and also to recharge batteries for a big party.
We started the party with another surprise from friends, who pulled all the guests to the dance floor, this was the party of the year.
